Wendy Wilcox, MD, MPH, MBA, FACOG is an obstetrician gynecologist who over her twenty-five year career has had the goal to promote health equity for women and children, with a focus on improving the health equity of Black women. Dr. Wilcox is the Clinical Service Line Lead for NYC Health + Hospitals for women’s health and maternal mortality and morbidity reduction. In this role, Dr. Wilcox has led the NYC Health + Hospitals initiatives to improve maternal health and outcomes. Dr. Wilcox services as Co-Chair of the New York State Task Force on Maternal Mortality and Disparate Racial Outcomes. Dr. Wilcox is a member of the ACOG Safe Motherhood Initiative Steering Committee, as well as a member of multiple New York State and New York City committees whose aim is to improve maternal health. Dr. Wilcox is Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County as well as, Associate Professor of Clinical Obstetrics and Gynecology at SUNY Downstate and St. George’s University. Dr. Wilcox is committed to improving the health disparities of women and their children.
