Chin R. Reyes, PhD, is an Assistant Professor at Yale University’s Child Study Center (Zigler Center in Child Development & Social Policy unit). An applied developmental scientist by training, Dr. Reyes’s expertise is built around the use of developmental science to inform practice, programming, and social policy. She leads numerous projects focusing on improving equitable access to high quality educational experiences for young children both nationally and internationally. Dr. Reyes serves as an expert panelist on several research study committees and advisory board councils around the issue of implicit bias and educational equity. She is the lead developer of the CHILD Tool, which is implemented statewide in Colorado, Michigan, Ohio, Alabama, Minnesota, and in several cities in the US and Canada.
